Just for once, I would say you have the edge on the weather! We are all badly dried up here ( I am in the South East of England) and the dahlias and so on are sad. Your garden looks as if it would be lovely. Can we have more please?
p.s we have had loads of cabbage white butterflies here, in the hundreds, have you had them too?
Very pretty indeed. Lots of our flowers are going over now, though there are some Michaelmas daisies and some Sedums still in bud, waiting for the late butterflies. I think that’s a Marmalade Hoverfly on the orange one (just about the only hoverfly I can name).
My flower bed is a fluke. The lupins didn`t too so well this year so I just flung the chrysanths in at the end of May and our wonderful sunshine brought them on.

Marmalade hoverfly…what a lovely name. Thank you for that!
So lovely!
Thank you, Paige!
What lovely photos of lovely flowers. You have nice collection of dahlias .
More by accident than design I have to say!
Dahlias need TLC – they don’t look accidental!
Wow
They`re loving this summer!
Taking pics really has opened my eyes to the beauty of flowers. Not that I can even take the pics properly, but I`m learning.Slowly.
Pretty!
Taking pics is really helping me appreciate flowers more.
Thank you, Jenny!
Beautiful. Mine is more of a spring garden. 😦

hmmmmm.
So was mine. I just tossed those chrysanthamums into the garden in late May/early June.
hmmm i fear it took a bit more than that.
Nice 🙂
Thank you!
